Chepstow Racecourse

There’s racing every month of the year at Chepstow Racecourse - one of the most popular tracks in the UK. It is the Capital Racecourse of Wales and is set in 400 acres of beautiful countryside at the foot of the Wye Valley.

It is a friendly racecourse, offers a charming atmosphere and has an impressive racing pedigree hosting top quality jump racing including the prestigious Coral Welsh Grand National just after Christmas.

The course stages both jump and flat racing with other highlights including Ladies Evening, Caribbean Night, Real Ale Race Day, Family Race Days and in recent years, concert race nights with artists such as Madness and Tom Jones.

The dress code is relaxed and tickets are available for general admission, the restaurant or hospitality. Parking is free of charge. Children aged 17 and under are admitted free of charge to all race meetings apart from concert race nights.

Whether you are a first time racegoer or seasoned enthusiast, horse racing as an occasion is difficult to beat for atmosphere, action and entertainment. There is nothing quite like a day at the races.
